About The Position

Sun Broadcasting, INC. is seeking a Full Time Radio Producer to join their team. This role involves the daily planning, development, and execution of show content, including topic generation, guest coordination, research, and segment preparation. The producer will also contribute on-air, publish and maintain social media content, and monitor breaking news and trending topics.

Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform frequent computer and keyboard use.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, and work in confined spaces with equipment.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to handle technical components and read screens or documentation.
• Ability to travel between work areas or locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the daily planning, development, and execution of show content, including topic generation, guest coordination, research, and segment preparation
• Consistently follow direction from management, communicate effectively, respond promptly to emails and requests, meet deadlines and execute assigned responsibilities in a timely and professional manner
• Contribute on-air, providing commentary and content that enhances the overall listener experience
• Publish, schedule, and maintain relevant daily content for social media channels, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging presentation of station content and local news
• Monitor breaking news, local events, and trending topics to identify timely content opportunities
