Parsons is seeking a candidate with a desire to enhance the fabric of our community. The Radio Frequency (RF) Technician maintains repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment (e.g., radar, radio, television, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids); personal and main frame computers and terminals, industrial, medical, measuring, and controlling equipment; and industrial robotic devices. The successful incumbent applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. This position supports the Life Cycle Contractor Support for the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability Instrumentation System (JPMRC-IS) program under the Army Warfighter Training Readiness Solutions (WTR-S) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. JPMRC-IS operations support the Army s USARPAC mission: to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States military for success on the 21st century battlefield. This experience includes capabilities of many of the world’s best systems integration and engineering in the technical integration of live, virtual and constructive (LVC) training support.
