About The Position

As a Radio Frequency (RF) Production Test Engineer (PTE) at Raytheon’s Electronic Warfare Systems in sunny Goleta, CA, you’ll have the opportunity to design, develop, and validate advanced testing solutions for our state-of-the-art Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) products. You will be a key player in shaping cutting-edge electronic warfare systems.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in Test Engineering, Test Automation, Electronic Equipment Control, and/or Test Validation.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) components and specifications.
  • Basic knowledge or experience with tools such as NI LabVIEW and/or Python programming.
  • Experience with hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of automated test systems and validation procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and provide accurate rework instructions for the product hardware.
  • Participate in projects to reduce test time, improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure modes, and test yields.
  • Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
  • Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings, test instructions, test position manuals, and system software.
  • Assist in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment.
  • Support root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings, utilizing fault trees and knowledge point plans.
