About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Radio Frequency Engineer - III to join their National In-building PMO RF Design team. This role involves interfacing with submarket teams, enterprise sales teams, and senior leadership to design and manage the implementation of enterprise in-building projects and distributed antenna systems. The position requires interaction at the Director/VP level and the development of executive dashboards and presentations, contributing to the company's leadership in telecommunications.

Requirements

• IBWave Certification and practical experience with IBWave.
• Extensive knowledge of FCC Emissions and RF Safety guidelines.
• Proficient on RF/Regulatory and PM Software: Atoll, Fuze/Siterra, Roofmaster/Roofview.
• Expert in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data for Nortel, Client, and/or Nokia infrastructure.
• Good understanding of engineering concepts, with aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field.
• Experienced in RF Design for Indoor Systems.
• Experience with RAN and DAS OEM systems required.
• Expertise with prediction and Mapping tools (Atoll, iBwave, MapInfo, Windcatcher).
• In-depth understanding of the various aspects of the RF Engineering elements that affect decisions.
• End-to-end understanding of the systems and technologies involved.
• Firm grasp and hands-on knowledge of the tools used, including their range and limitations.
• Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
• Organized or possessing a systematic method of performing a task.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in RF Design.

Responsibilities

• Support the National In-Building team in reviewing In-Building designs (in iBwave format) and completing the required RF paperwork per project.
• File 911 and regulatory paperwork for all assigned projects.
• Team up with experienced RF Design engineers to manage projects throughout the country.
