About The Position

We are looking for an RF Electronics Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role involves maintaining, operating, and repairing high power microwave transmitters used for RF research. The technician will also design and set up experiments for protocols using various RF sources, maintain lab notebooks and data collection files, and perform data analysis and interpretation. Additionally, the role includes performing detailed RF dosimetry of all frequencies, composing written methods of dosimetry and data collection processes for publication, and performing safety measurements to ensure safety regulations and procedures are followed. A key responsibility is fabricating various test set-ups from raw materials for experiments dealing with RF.

Requirements

  • U.S Citizenship required
  • BA/BS and 3+ years experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree can be considered.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET Security clearance
  • Must be a highly motivated, well organized, and independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and great attention to detail.
  • Must be comfortable working in a highly innovative and fast-pace environment and have a strong ability to cope with change.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
