About The Position

Forcht Broadcasting Radio & Digital is seeking a passionate Radio & Digital Account Executive to help local businesses grow. This role involves developing and managing strategic business plans to meet revenue goals, building and maintaining a strong client pipeline, and designing custom multimedia marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will conduct client needs assessments, present compelling proposals, and coordinate with internal teams for seamless campaign execution. Participation in community events and ongoing professional development are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

• 2+ years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably in media, advertising, or digital marketing.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts independently.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Central Kentucky region.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of radio and digital marketing best practices preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, broadcasting, or a related field is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic business plans in collaboration with the General Manager to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new and existing clients; consistently prospect and replenish accounts.
• Design and present custom multimedia marketing campaigns using Radio, SEM, SEO, Display, and Social Media solutions.
• Conduct client needs assessments and account reviews to uncover key objectives and provide tailored solutions.
• Present compelling proposals, proof of performance, and ROI to drive client satisfaction and renewals.
• Coordinate with traffic and production teams to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns.
• Participate in community events and represent Forcht Broadcasting at local networking functions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including digital certification programs provided by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB).
