About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapy Technologist to join the Cancer Center team at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a clinical oncology setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience
- Active Radiation Therapy Technologist certification/license (as required by state)
- AHA BLS certification (required)
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Position patients accurately for treatment procedures
- Monitor patients during treatment and ensure safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and healthcare team
- Follow all radiation safety and compliance standards
