About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapy Technologist to join a dynamic oncology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy procedures and patient care, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist
- Active certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT or equivalent)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and oncology procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Nice To Haves
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and equipment setup for treatment delivery
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient treatment records
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Follow all safety protocols and radiation protection standards
