Located in beautiful Salt Lake City and set against the backdrop of the snow-covered Wasatch Mountains, we are located within minutes of 7 world-class ski resorts. Experience 4 seasons, hiking, biking, and several National Parks. The Radiation Oncology department has a tradition of academic and clinical excellence and occupies a spacious 30,000 square feet on the ground floor of the beautiful Huntsman Cancer Hospital on the University of Utah Salt Lake campus. This mid to evening shift allows flexibilty to do a morning hike or hit the slopes before work. The program provides a signing bonus for newly hired external candidates at a 0.50 FTE or greater. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high quality, state of the art treatments while being supported with a team of 14 faculty Radiation oncologists, 15 Nurses, 11 Dosimetrists & 14 Medical Physicists along with over 30 Radiation Therapists. We are proud to offer cutting edge technology with several Varian Truebeams, a Varian Halcyon, Aria EMR, and Mevion proton therapy to treat cancer patients from all over Utah and surrounding states.
