About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join a radiation oncology team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering precise radiation treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- ARRT (T) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience
- Active state license (if required; must be in hand at submission)
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
- Monitor patients for side effects and provide support during treatment
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records using electronic medical systems
- Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare team members
- Float between similar units as needed
