Radiation Therapist - Radiology Oncology
About The Position
Radiation Therapist at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8- hour, Day/ shifts. Under the direction of the Lead Radiation Therapist, Radiation Oncology Manager, Physicist, and Radiation Oncologists and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in coordinating, preparing and administering radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures within appropriate radiation safety practices. Acts in compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards. Performs duties under minimum supervision. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, Or Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
