About The Position
Provide radiation therapy services in an oncology setting. Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively. Follow established clinical and safety protocols. Deliver quality patient care throughout the treatment process.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Radiation Therapy experience required
- New York State license must be in hand
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Must maintain all required state and federal licenses and registrations
- Strong knowledge of: General anatomy, Physiology, Medical terminology
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam, Varian IX, and ARIA software preferred/required based on department needs
- Specific experience and training in radiation therapy/radiology preferred
