About The Position
Administers radiation treatments in a precise manner, carefully reproducing the treatment daily, and making adjustments as directed by the Radiation Oncologist.
Requirements
- Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed Radiation Therapist in NYS
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiation therapy technology education from an accredited program.
- Must be New York State licensed or qualified to be licensed.
- If qualified to be licensed the validation of a degree in a radiation therapy program as well as a temporary NYS license and ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy must be provided.
- Must become licensed in NYS before temporary license expires.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification required.
Nice To Haves
- ARRT Certification preferred.
