About The Position

Safely administer prescribed radiation doses while accurately positioning patients and collaborating with the clinical team to execute treatment plans. Oversee the operation, maintenance, and adjustment of specialized radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators, to ensure optimal performance. Maintain precise records of all therapy sessions and ensure the prompt, accurate submission of high-quality documentation and images to PACS. Adhere to all regulatory agency standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly clinical environment, including procedure and storage areas.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiation Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
