This role involves maintaining accurate treatment records, processing orders for specific exams during treatment, acting as a liaison between the physician, patient, and family, and monitoring patients for adverse reactions during radiation therapy. The therapist provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the ages of patients served and demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for their practice.
