We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our outstanding Radiation Oncology team in Provo, Utah. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced oncology professionals in a technologically advanced environment while providing exceptional care to patients throughout their cancer treatment journey. Our Radiation Oncology department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and delivers advanced cancer treatments in a modern, paperless environment, including: Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator, Vision RT AlignRT Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT), Aria Record & Verify System, Eclipse Treatment Planning Software, GE Wide-Bore Lightspeed CT Scanner. We offer Electron Beam Therapy, 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). Requirements

  • ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
  • Current Utah Radiation Therapist License
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and treatment excellence

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of Radiation Therapy experience
  • Experience with Varian TrueBeam technology
  • Experience using Aria Record & Verify systems
  • CT Simulation experience
  • Familiarity with advanced treatment modalities including IMRT, SRS, and SBRT

Responsibilities

  • Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and expectations
  • Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and patients for therapy sessions
  • Verify treatment parameters and maintain accurate treatment documentation
  • Perform weekly electronic chart reviews and treatment record audits
  • Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and skin reactions
  • Conduct tumor localization using image-guided and surface-guided technologies
  • Schedule patient treatments and coordinate daily workflow
  • Manage treatment supplies and maintain a clean, organized treatment environment
  • Perform daily quality assurance and safety checks on treatment equipment, including the TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and CT scanner
  • Support department quality and safety initiatives while maintaining compliance with established protocols
