The position involves delivering precise and compassionate care, performing treatment simulations, mentoring future RTTs, participating in advanced procedures, and collaborating within a care team. Flexibility is required, as coverage may extend to multiple Rochester or regional sites, involve on-call duties, shift work, and mandatory overtime when needed. The role offers unique aspects such as independent operation of Photon and Proton departments, extended hours with high patient volume, and close interdisciplinary teamwork with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and social workers.
