About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is now hiring Radiation Therapists in Virginia Beach, VA! Sign on Bonus up to $15,000 offered for qualified candidates! Relocation packages available! Shift: Full time, first shift. Overview Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology REQUIRED
- ARRT Certification PREFERRED
- All new graduates will remain Radiation Therapist I for the first 2 years of employment and are required to pass boards within 6 months of hire.
- Completion of an approved certification program prior to 2016 in lieu of Associates degree will also be considered.
- No experience required
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards.
