About The Position

City of Hope Temecula is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join their growing oncology team. This role is suitable for both experienced therapists and new graduates. The position involves delivering world-class cancer care and improving patient lives. The role requires accuracy in positioning the radiation beam and delivering prescribed doses. The therapist will support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
ARRT certification required.
Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
Radiation Therapist I: requires 0-3 years of experience
Radiation Therapist II: requires 3-7 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
Senior Radiation Therapist: requires 7+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.

Nice To Haves

Varian IX & Siemens CT experience preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities

Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
Accurately enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record.
Participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
Assists in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
Accurately cuts blocks, when applicable.
Accurately makes custom molds.
Accurately interprets a computerized treatment plan.
Maintains clean, safe, and organized work environment.
If needed, this role may require floating to our sister sites in San Bernardino and Wildomar.
