About The Position
MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is a large regional referral teaching hospital serving a wide population in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. They are looking to hire a Radiation Therapist, and will also accept Trainees or Interns for this position. Relocation assistance is available.
Requirements
- Registered Radiation Therapist or registry eligibility required
- Must obtain and maintain a State of Iowa Permit To Practice requiring 24 CEUs in a 2 - year period
- Current Iowa permit to practice in Radiation Therapy
- BLS
- Mandatory Reporter

- Previous experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician’s prescription
- Complete treatment preparation including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication
- Coordinate care of patients receiving radiation therapy treatments
- Assure proper function of treatment equipment
- Based on principles of growth and development, provide care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned area
