About The Position

This role involves administering prescribed radiation treatments to patients, most commonly as part of cancer care, using advanced medical equipment. The radiation therapist works closely with oncologists and the healthcare team to accurately position patients, follow detailed treatment plans, and ensure safety and precision. Compassionate patient support and careful documentation are essential throughout the treatment process.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience required

• CT Simulation experience
• Custom Molds experience
• Custom Shield experience
• MRI experience
• PET Scan experience
• Tumor Localization experience
• Beam Modifying/Positioning experience
• Block cutting experience
• CBCT/kV/mV imaging experience
• Wedges experience
• Calculate dose of radiation experience
• Pinnacle (Philips) experience
• Eclipse (Varian) experience
• External Beam Therapy experience
• IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy experience
• ARIA experience
• Varian 21 ex/ix experience
• Lift/ transfer devices experience
• Isolation Precautions experience
• Radiation Safety experience
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams experience
• Simulation of Treatment Sites experience
• CT/iCT experience
• NC or Compact license
• ARRT T certificate
• BLS certificate
• Any charting system experience required
• Will accept 1st time travelers
