Requirements

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy program required
• Current Massachusetts Radiology License required
• ARRT(T) certification in Radiation Therapy required
• Current CPR certification required
• Must have clinical experience through a formal program and the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
• Attendance at all mandatory education and training is required
• Radiation Therapy Treatment Delivery
• Simulation and Dosimetry Planning Support
• High-Stress Clinical Decision Making
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy program
• Current Massachusetts Radiology License
• ARRT(T) certification in Radiation Therapy
• Current CPR certification
• 2+ to 5 years experience
• Massachusetts-licensed Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T certified) with strong technical skills in treatment delivery and simulation support
• Confident working independently in a high-pressure oncology environment while maintaining patient-centered care and strict safety standards
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and oncology teams

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments following physician direction and safety protocols
• Perform simulations and assist with dosimetry planning
• Fabricate and manage treatment blocks and immobilization devices
• Coordinate daily treatment schedules and equipment assignments
• Operate radiation equipment safely and effectively under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist
• Collaborate with nursing, reception, and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain and update departmental procedure manuals as needed
