About The Position

Bring your expertise to a Radiation Oncology team where advanced technology, clinical excellence, and compassionate patient care come together. We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to safely and precisely deliver radiation therapy and CT simulation services while providing exceptional support to patients throughout their treatment journey. This is an opportunity to work with advanced treatment technologies, take an active role in department operations, and mentor the next generation of Radiation Therapists.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an Accredited Radiation Therapy Program or other allied health profession or possess equivalent training
  • Minimum Three (3) years Radiation Therapy experience
  • Completion of formal clinical experience in radiation therapy
  • Board certification in Radiation Therapy Technology (ARRT) or board eligible
  • State Licensure
  • Certification in BLS
  • Experience with linear accelerators, including Elekta and/or Varian.
  • Experience with Radiation Oncology EMR systems such as MOSAIQ and/or ARIA.
  • Strong commitment to radiation safety, accuracy, compassionate patient care, and multidisciplinary teamwork.

  • State of Delaware licensure as Radiation Therapy Technology

Responsibilities

  • Deliver radiation treatments and CT simulations safely and accurately according to the Radiation Oncologist’s prescribed treatment plan.
  • Perform patient setup, positioning, imaging, treatment verification, safety checks, and documentation.
  • Work with advanced treatment modalities and technologies, including CT Simulation, HDR, SBRT, ETHOS, and CyberKnife.
  • Independently manage treatment-machine workflow, patient scheduling, and unexpected operational issues.
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment, assess tolerance, and coordinate appropriate follow-up with the care team.
  • Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other members of the Radiation Oncology team.
  • Mentor Radiation Therapists and support the clinical education of Radiation Therapy students.
  • Help introduce and advance new technologies and best practices within the department.
