About The Position

City of Hope Sherman Oaks is hiring a Full-Time Radiation Therapist. This role is critical in delivering life-changing cancer treatment within an experienced and collaborative team. The position involves administering radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy in beam positioning and dose delivery. The role also supports the US Oncology Compliance Program.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
ARRT certification required.
Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
Radiation Therapist I: requires 0-3 years of experience
Radiation Therapist II: requires 3-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
Senior Radiation Therapist: requires 5+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.

Nice To Haves

Halcyon and IX Linac experience preferred

Responsibilities

Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
Accurately enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record.
Participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
Assists in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
Accurately cuts blocks, when applicable.
Accurately makes custom molds.
Accurately completes simple mu calculations.
Accurately interprets a computerized treatment plan.
Maintains clean, safe, and organized work environment.
