AMPERA is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Safety Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of radiation protection systems and safety protocols for AMPERA’s next-generation nuclear micro-reactors. This role is critical in ensuring the protection of personnel, facilities, and the environment during reactor development, testing, and operation. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in radiation shielding design, dose modeling, and compliance with NRC, DOE, and OSHA standards. This position requires close collaboration with reactor design, materials, and fuel development teams to integrate safety considerations throughout the entire system lifecycle.
