About The Position
A nursing opportunity to become part of a diverse and multidisciplinary radiation oncology team. A wider prospect to be a patient’s advocate, educator, and care-coordinator. For both Adult and Pediatric patients. Responsibilities: Procedural Assistance, Wound Care, Administer Contrast, Symptom management, telephone triage and Care Coordination. Must possess a positive attitude, flexibility, excellent assessment /critical thinking skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, and ability for autonomous decision making. Responsibilities
- Provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
- Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
