BayCare Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join the BayCare Department of Radiation Oncology Caregiver Team at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical quality and patient safety, embracing BayCare's vision and values. This role involves practicing at St. Joseph's Hospital, which has a long history of providing radiation therapy and is equipped with advanced technology including linear accelerators, an HDR afterloader, and a CT simulator. A Mevion S250-FIT proton accelerator is being installed and will be operational in Q2 2026. The hospital registers approximately 1,600 new cancer cases annually and holds certifications from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the American College of Radiology. Future plans include a state-of-the-art BayCare Cancer Institute facility on the St. Joseph's campus, with construction beginning in Q4 2026. BayCare's Department of Radiation Oncology operates across four regional cancer centers. Additionally, BayCare has a strategic collaboration with Northwestern Medicine to enhance its academic health system capabilities, focusing on advanced treatments, clinical research, and physician training.
