About The Position

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a radiation oncologist with expertise in carbon ion therapy to expand their growing team. This role will support the current practice and aid in preparation for the first in the nation Carbon-Ion Therapy Center. The Radiation Oncologist will be expected to utilize all radiation modalities including proton therapy, IMRT, brachytherapy and SBRT while working with a multi-disciplinary team managing patients with all types of malignancies. Candidates should have exceptional clinical competency and a strong interest in clinical research. Experience in both carbon and proton therapy is required, as well as experience and interest in clinical trial research.
