About The Position

We are seeking a SoC Radiation Effects Engineer to design and execute radiation testing for advanced integrated circuits at university and government facilities. This role involves developing software, FPGA systems, and test infrastructure while ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis. Requirements

  • MS Degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in IC radiation testing
  • 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and document radiation test plans for complex SoC systems
  • Develop supporting software, firmware, and FPGA-based test components
  • Assemble and integrate laboratory and data acquisition infrastructure
  • Perform radiation testing at university and government facilities
  • Coordinate with facility staff to ensure safe and effective execution
  • Supervise and support student involvement during testing
  • Process and evaluate experimental data with attention to accuracy and integrity
  • Prepare technical reports, publications, and presentations
  • Train and mentor student researchers in experimental methods and practices
