About The Position
deciBel Research is seeking a mid-level Radar System Analyst to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analysis efforts for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform. The successful candidate will work alongside other analysts and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support development and test activities, and perform root-cause and deep-dive analysis of data anomalies.
Requirements
- 7+ years' experience in technical data analysis on DoD programs
- Proficiency in Linux OS
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Matlab
- Strong deductive reasoning skills
- Proficiency in performing root-cause analysis and ability to clearly communicate results with team members and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to generate clear, concise presentation of analysis results (customer charts vs engineering charts)
- Understanding of basic statistics
- Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with DoD radars and/or C2BMC
- General knowledge of radar systems
- Experience working with Ground Test and Flight Test data
- Experience with H5 file format
- Experience with data reduction techniques
