About The Position

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII‑MT), is seeking multi-level Radar and Modeling and Simulation Engineers to join our advanced development team. In these roles, you will create and utilize high‑fidelity simulations to analyze and predict the performance of advanced radar systems, leveraging deep expertise in MATLAB to model complex radar waveforms, signal processing algorithms, and challenging electronic warfare (EW) environments. Engineers at all levels will play a critical role in shaping system design, developing next‑generation capabilities, and ensuring system performance requirements are met. Radar Modeling and Simulation Engineers will contribute to system design and performance analysis while collaborating with internal team members and partner vendors. Senior‑level engineers will take on broader responsibilities, applying advanced technical expertise to lead complex analyses, guide architectural decisions, and influence the direction of future radar capabilities. Across both levels, you will be a key contributor within a collaborative, high‑impact engineering environment. This position is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio and is within a commutable distance from Beavercreek, Fairborn, Dayton, and Riverside. This position is available at multiple levels. Candidates will be evaluated at the appropriate level based on education and relevant experience.
