Radar Modeling and Simulation Analyst, Senior

Booz Allen HamiltonPatterson, OH

About The Position

Your engineering skills and determination are needed to develop the cutting-edge technology used to support the warfighter and maintain national security. Join an energetic team whose day-to-day mission involves breaking down the Air Force’s toughest challenges and communicating the essential results of that work to their leadership. As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to modeling foreign threat radar, antennas, weapons, and communication systems. We’re looking for a problem solver who can use their skills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems and survivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. We’re looking for lifelong learners and motivated, independent thinkers who can contribute to a fast-paced, team environment focused on client delivery. This is an opportunity to hone your technical abilities on significant and current engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication. Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients, and we also develop the detailed models and simulations required. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, with a solid background in signal processing to develop radar and antenna models. You’ll also perform modeling tasks, including radar signal processing code development and the development and refinement of weapon models in Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink. You’ll directly impact the Air Force’s mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures to improve survivability and vulnerability against foreign threat systems as well as helping make an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems. Join us. The world can’t wait.
