About The Position

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to designing and integrating radar systems. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process in support of radar systems. At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform Mission Systems requirements to improve radar performance of a variety of platforms. Our team supports the Mission Systems team in working with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, well versed in radar systems to help us design and develop future technologies within the radar discipline. On our team, you’ll work with existing teams to understand the current challenges and work with OEMs to develop and integrate those upgrades to improve the warfighters' competitive edge. You will assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance. Requirements

  • Experience in radar systems
  • Knowledge of radar systems and systems integration challenges
  • Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to improve warfighter capabilities
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with modern Navy SPY radar systems
  • Experience with the SETR process
  • Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting
  • Knowledge of system targeting algorithms and test techniques
  • Ability to analyze radar designs and provide technical inputs improve performance and integration ease
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
