In this project, you will support the development of standoff sensor systems designed to detect threat objects before they can cause harm. This system addresses an urgent need to protect U.S. military and civilian personnel, both abroad and at home. You will be part of a dynamic team of engineers, scientists, and programmers. Working alongside top talent from the civilian, contractor, and military sectors at one of the nation's premier laboratories, you will have access to advanced test equipment and analysis software. In this role, you will help develop and test systems that provide advanced RF sensing capabilities for the standoff detection of threats. Your work will advance the state of the art and address real-world challenges. By applying your hands-on knowledge of radar antennas and systems, you will play a direct role in transitioning this technology from the laboratory to the battlefield. You will build your expertise in radar system development, system design, and hardware/software integration. You will also gain exposure to new analysis tools, test equipment, and testing methods. Each day will present new opportunities to learn and grow. Professional development is encouraged and expected at I-3.
