About The Position
ApolloTech MSI is seeking a Radar Engineer / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our expert team. This full-time role is based at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, with hybrid work flexibility. As a Radar Engineer / SME, you will provide deep technical expertise and leadership in radar system design, development, and deployment. You will act as a primary technical resource for radar-related projects, offering guidance on radar system architecture, technology selection, and performance optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review technical documentation, and contribute to strategic decisions to ensure mission success. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and supporting proposal development and client engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in radar engineering, including system design, analysis, and integration
- Recognized subject matter expert in radar technology, signal processing, and radar system performance
- Strong knowledge of radar architectures, waveforms, and sensor technologies
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and other radar simulation and analysis tools
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineering staff
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Capability to contribute to technical proposals and client interactions
- US Citizenship required due to security clearance requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
