About The Position

This position is for a Rad Technologist at the Western Ave. Health Center, working full-time during day shifts. The role is open to both experienced clinicians and recent graduates with strong clinical skills. The technologist will utilize effective communication to ensure patient identification, education, safety, and satisfaction. Key responsibilities include the organized, timely, and accurate completion of procedures, precise documentation of patient information, and communication of any variations from protocol or equipment issues. The role also involves the accurate administration of contrast material and successful venipuncture/port access, catering to patients of all age groups (Neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatrics). A contribution to process improvement initiatives within the department and health system is also expected. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, eager to grow professionally, values teamwork, possesses excellent communication and time management skills, and desires to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Program
Major/Area of Concentration: Radiologic Technology
RRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License.
ARRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License.
BLS - Basic Life Support(must obtain within first 30 days of employment).
New graduates: Must have passed ARRT registry exam to be Ohio Department of Health license eligible before start date.
Must obtain Ohio license within first 14 days of employment.
Radiology Tech.

Responsibilities

Utilizes effective communication to ensure customer identification, education, safety and satisfaction.
Organized, timely, and accurate completion of procedures relative to department standards.
Accurate, complete, legible documentation of all patient information.
Communication and documentation of all variations from protocol.
Accurate administration of contrast material (oral, I.V. or port) and successful venipuncture and port access via system IV Therapy policy.
Acts with patients/families of all age groups: Neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatrics.
Communication and documentation of equipment variations
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department and health system.
