About The Position

CHOMP is a smoke-free facility. All drug reports must have a negative result for nicotine/cotinine. If tested positive, will submit for review if traveler has been prescribed a nicotine patch. For all reports with no legitimate reason for positive nicotine/cotinine, the contract will be cancelled. This position is in the Radiology - General X-Ray Tech department, serving both inpatient and outpatient needs at the hospital across all imaging areas. The department utilizes Siemens and some older Client equipment, with C-ARM being Client - OEC. There is an in-house radiologist. Travelers will complete an orientation packet through the employee internet and receive department-specific orientation in the department, typically lasting between 3-6 shifts. Orientation is conducted only at the hospital. Candidates must be professional, clean, neat, patient-focused, customer service-oriented, empathetic, and positive. The department is very structured, and the clientele is unique.

Requirements

BLS certification
CA State license (must have upon submission)
ARRT certification
CA Fluoro license (strong preference, RHF implies Fluoro license)
Experience with fluoro and OR imaging (if applicable)
Experience with EMR - Epic (plus but not a deal breaker)
Professional, clean, and neat appearance
100% patient focused
Very customer service oriented
Professional, empathetic, and positive attitudes

Nice To Haves

2 years of actual hospital experience
CT experience
CA Fluoro license
Fluoro & OR experience
Experience with Epic EMR

Responsibilities

Perform imaging in all areas of the hospital for inpatient and outpatient needs.
Operate imaging equipment including Siemens, older Client equipment, and Client - OEC C-ARM.
Complete orientation packet and department-specific orientation.
Maintain a professional, patient-focused, and customer service-oriented demeanor.
