About The Position

Provides care for patients and performs duties directly involved with procedures using ionizing radiation for screening, diagnosis, and guidance for interventional procedures in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment and sets appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic-quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images and pertinent clinical information to physicians for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call assignments to provide after-hours high-volume coverage.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities
