About The Position

This opportunity as a Rad Tech at our West Des Moines office involves working alongside a team of Physicians, Rad Techs, and Ortho Techs to support patient needs. The primary responsibilities include obtaining x-ray images and supporting clinic flow. The role requires a Permit to Practice and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. The Rad Tech will be on their feet most of the day, greeting and preparing patients by gathering medical information and obtaining x-ray images before they see the provider. This position is within a private practice setting, offering access to ask questions of the care team and work with a close-knit team of professionals.

Requirements

• Radiology Tech with a permit to practice in the state of Iowa
• Ability to communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous
• Ability to listen, ask questions, and avoid interrupting the patient
• Independent worker
• Ability to keep yourself focused and know when to ask for help
