About The Position
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Rad Tech - Primary purpose is to perform radiograph procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging strongly preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited AMA program for Radiologic Technology.
- Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or be registry eligible
- Licensed as required by the West Virginia State “Board” of Radiology
- BLS required
Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience as Staff Radiologic Technologist desired but not essential.
