PRN Rad Tech Student
About The Position
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in Imaging Services and assisting with other duties while promoting service excellence. Performs imaging procedures—including radiographs, CT, MRI, or ultrasound—on all parts of the body for interpretation by a Radiologist. Procedures may take place in the operating room, on patient floors, and in the Emergency Room. The role requires knowledge of radiographic equipment, including portable units and C-arms, as well as the PACS system and scheduling module. The employee is also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited 24-month Radiologic Technology, Ultrasound, CT, or MRI program.
- Minimum of one year as a student in one of the listed imaging programs.
- Competent in performing routine radiological, CT, MRI, or ultrasound procedures.
- Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
- Able to use standard radiographic equipment and supplies; functional with digital fluoroscopy, portable units, and C-arm equipment.
