About The Position
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will help our patients and their families receive high-quality diagnostic imaging services across all developmental stages so they can achieve accurate diagnoses and better health outcomes. Every day you will perform a variety of fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the process. You will be expected to uphold the organization's mission and core values, actively participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong technical skills in operating radiologic equipment, a comprehensive understanding of patient care needs from infancy to geriatrics, and excellent communication abilities to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- High School Graduate/GED
- Graduate of a Radiology Program
- Less than 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience
- CA Medical Radiographer (Rad Tech) license
- Basic Life Support
- Fluoroscopy

Responsibilities
- Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
- Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
- Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
- Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
- Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
- Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
