About The Position

This is a key role in providing exceptional racquet sports experiences for our members and guests. This position is divided evenly between customer service and administrative support (50%) and on-court instruction/programming (50%) across tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, service-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Prior teaching experience in at least one racquet sport; proficiency in multiple sports preferred, but not required.
Professional certifications (USPTA, PTR, PPTA, or PPR) or willingness to obtain.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Energetic, organized, and dependable with a team-first mindset.
Basic computer and scheduling system proficiency.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Teach private and group lessons in tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball for adults and juniors of all skill levels.
Assist in clinics, leagues, and junior programs.
Provide a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all.
Assist with seasonal racquet events, camps, and competitive programs.
Represent the club positively in all member interactions and professional settings.
Serve as the point of contact for member inquiries about programs, lessons, and events.
Manage class and event registrations through the club’s booking system.
Provide clear communication about schedules, policies, and offerings.
Assist with marketing racquets programs, including newsletters and in-club signage.
Maintain accurate records for lessons, clinics, events, and member billing.
Support the professional staff with tournament coordination, special events, and promotions.
