About The Position

As part of our recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Racker to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare aluminum parts for alodine/anodizing chemical processing by placing parts on racks and or baskets according to their size and shape.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English through verbal communication, American Sign Language, or adaptive technology

Responsibilities

Select racks/baskets according to size, shape, and number of objects to be processed.
Verify paperwork, then count parts prior to racking and count again upon completion of chemical treatment processes to ensure accuracy.
Place parts on racks with wire or clips according to customer requirements as indicated on work instructions.
Remove parts from racks.
Perform visual inspection to verify finish is in compliance with specifications.
Complete required documentation.
Transport parts to next area.
Handle hazardous materials safely while wearing appropriate safety attire.
Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
Follow work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.
