About The Position

The Rack Unloader is responsible for unloading bread from racks and placing it onto the conveyor belt. This role requires frequent pushing/pulling of full racks, maintaining the order of products according to labels, and ensuring the integrity of the product. The position also involves verifying batch numbers and product codes, returning unused labels, reporting any equipment malfunctions or shortages to supervisors, and maintaining a clean work area. The job is performed in production areas with exposure to strong aromas, airborne dust particles, and machinery.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to communicate well, both verbal and written, also with good mathematical skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. continuously.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload bread from rack and place it onto the conveyor belt.
• Frequent pushing/pulling of full racks into their correct order.
• Keep up with rack labels and ensure product doesn't get out of order.
• Maintain integrity of product.
• Ensure batch numbers and product code on the labels match.
• Return any unused label back to the supervisor so that it can be recorded.
• Detect any malfunction and report it to the supervisor.
• Comply with all safety requirements and company policies.
• Report all shortage to the lead operator.
• Clean work area as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
