About The Position

Responsible for providing customers with racing information. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, or 2 years of related experience and/or training. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of horse racing, basic computer skills, and excellent customer service abilities. The position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 2 year related experience and/or training; or combination
• Basic knowledge of horse racing related information required.
• Basic computer skills required for those with LSP Bet and/or SmartButton access.
• Dependability and good attendance required.
• Ability to meet company standards of performance and safety.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Ability to intercede in customer/team members disputes in a professional, ethical manner.
• Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Excellent oral communication skills required, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Ability to interact positively with employees and the general public.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to prioritize, multi task and be flexible.
• Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions.
• Texas Racing Commission License (TXRC)

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of horseracing and/or pari-mutuel wagering helpful.
• Bilingual skills helpful.
