About The Position

Responsible for all operations of the Race and Sports Book and for supervising all personnel assigned to the Race and Sports Department. The position oversees Race and Sports Book procedures and controls, ensures compliance with all GCB rules and regulations, maintains Title 31 and Race and Sports Book Internal Controls, and administers quarterly and yearly training in Title 31 and GCB Regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management.
• Gaming licensing is required.
• Understanding of pari-mutuel and Book Holding Percentages.
• Understanding of scheduling, supply ordering, contracts, and administrative functions of the Race and Sports Department.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Race and Sports supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CBS/LVDC Race and Sports computer systems.
