About The Position

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is seeking a Race & Events Crew member for the winter seasonal period. This role involves setting up, tearing down, and maintaining racecourses and on-mountain competition venues. The crew will provide physical and logistical support for JHMR signature events, assist with the operation and maintenance of electric timing systems, and ensure the safety of all courses and venues. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting timing and communication equipment, repairing race materials, executing partner activations, and supporting positive guest interactions.

Requirements

Strong Alpine skiing/riding ability required.
Ability to carry up to 50 pounds while skiing/riding required.
High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Valid Driver's License required.

Nice To Haves

Ski racing, freestyle and/or freeride competition knowledge are preferred.
Basic construction skills are helpful, not required.
USSA coaching or Alpine Official rating preferred.
Previous Race Crew or on-mountain work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set-up, tear down and maintain racecourses and on-mountain competition venues.
Provide physical and logistical support for JHMR signature events on-mountain or in base area.
Support in the operation and maintenance of electric timing systems.
Ensure safety of all courses & venues.
Troubleshoot timing and communication equipment.
Repair race material, i.e. gates, fencing, and tools.
Execute partner activations and events.
Support friendly and welcoming guest interactions at events and activations.
