This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services. This position is responsible for organizing efforts across Northern Colorado, including but not limited to Larimer and Weld counties. While the designated home health center for this role is PPRM's Fort Collins administrative office, the primary geographic focus of the position is Greeley and the surrounding Weld County region. The ideal candidate resides in Northern Colorado and is comfortable traveling regularly throughout Larimer and Weld counties, commuting to Denver as needed, and traveling periodically to other parts of the PPRM region, including Wyoming and New Mexico.

Requirements

Deep experience living or working in Latinx or immigrant communities in the U.S.
Experience in recruiting, managing, and retaining activists.
Strong people skills and ability to build relationships with community partners and activists.
Understanding of the importance of intersectionality in organizing and approach work through a racial equity and inclusion lens.
Ability to use video conferencing software like Zoom, and Microsoft Office programs to communicate remotely with teams and track data and goals.
Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and showing progress towards goals.
Comfortable traveling regularly throughout Larimer and Weld counties, commuting to Denver as needed, and traveling periodically to other parts of the PPRM region, including Wyoming and New Mexico.

Responsibilities

Serve as member of PPRM Public Affairs team; responsible for implementing a collaborative activist coordination program.
Collaborate with PPRM Public Affairs staff to implement leadership development programming for PPRM activists.
Collaborate with PPFA Raíz staff to implement a local initiative campaign focused on bridging gaps to access of sexual and reproductive health care within the Latinx community.
Coordinate with PPRM and PPFA to build a sustainable atmosphere for reproductive rights advocacy.
Provide an additional line of communication with coalition partners on activist activity and new projects, as directed by your Public Affairs Manager.
Recruit, train, and coordinate activists for issue advocacy programs.
Develop relationships with and serve as a liaison between stakeholder constituencies and the Public Affairs department.
Track qualitative and quantitative metrics measuring the impact of your work.
Maintain an accurate record of your work in our internal database.
Provide support to existing organizing programs in your area, such as Health Center Advocacy Program and campus/youth organizing.
Identify and recruit members, activists, and volunteers; manage phone banking, canvassing, and community events; educate and prepare activists for legislative and/or electoral activities; and other activities related to activist recruitment, development, and mobilization.
