About The Position

Halliburton Energy Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Account Representative, Principal (Prin) to join their team in Houston, TX. This role involves utilizing subject matter expertise and established client relationships to sell Company products and services, aiming for maximum profitability and market penetration. The Account Rep, Prin will match the Company's capabilities to customer needs by understanding their business and technical issues, delivering effective sales presentations, and building strong personal relationships. Responsibilities include calling on assigned and non-assigned accounts, actively participating in business planning, and providing guidance to less experienced staff. Domestic travel is required 25% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a Account Rep, Prin-related occupation.
• Experience administering dedicated customer contracts with a proven track record in winning and executing contracts, with a strong ability to expand business within existing agreements and drive upsells in both scope and product offerings.
• Experience in delivering digitalization and automation projects for the Oil and Gas industry, particularly within long-term contractual frameworks.
• Demonstrated success in the sales of subsurface sensors and diagnostic solutions tailored to the Oil and Gas market.
• Experience generating and submitting commercial proposals to customers.
• Experience matching technical, commercial and operational capabilities to customer needs through developing a clear understanding of customer's business and technical issues and drivers and effective delivery of technical sales presentations and personal relationships.
• Experience with Green and Blue Sheet methodology to conduct analyses and create action plans for pursuit of opportunities.
• Experience overseeing pricing and pricing initiatives for customer base to manage both short-term and long-term contracts, accounting for factors such as inflationary pressures, scope expansions, and market volatility.
• Skilled in adapting pricing models in response to geopolitical dynamics that impact cost structures.
• Experienced in developing and executing pricing strategies tailored to digital and automation solutions within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Experience gathering and communicating intelligence on competitors and customer strategies and understanding of customer market share and core offerings, with the development of competitive growth strategies in comparison to key competitors.
